Meet Our Instructors & Staff
Lee Howard - grew up in south Florida where he started fishing for salt water fish, with a fly rod, at the age of 10. In the '70s he started to guide on the flats of the Indian River and the backwaters of south Florida. He now lives on the banks of the Hiwassee River. Lee is the manager of the Upper Hi Fly and is an expert in guiding the waters of North Carolina and north Georgia. Besides his 20 plus years of fly fishing experience, Lee has always felt that it is necessary to stay abreast of all the latest equipment and trends in the industry. So if you're going for giant tarpon in the Keys, or six inch brook trout in the mountains, he knows what it takes.
